Dermal filler is a minimally invasive procedure. Some clients describe feeling a slight pinching sensation during treatment. Your nurse injector will provide a topical numbing cream before treatment to optimize your comfort.

Is dermal filler better than Botox?

Dermal fillers and injection services like Botox serve different purposes. One isn’t better than the other; in fact, the two treatments complement each other well. Dermal filler plumps areas of the face that have experienced a loss of volume. It addresses static wrinkles and promotes skin hydration. Botox relaxes facial muscles and reduces the appearance of wrinkles. Wrinkle relaxers target dynamic wrinkles that appear when we make expressions with our face. The Lolia Experience

Step 1: Appointment

Your nurse injector will discuss your treatment options and answer any questions you have. Then, they will outline the injection areas and apply a topical numbing cream. Once the numbing cream has set in, your provider will administer the dermal filler.

Step 2: Results

There is no downtime following treatment. However, redness and bruising at the injection sites are possible. You may see initial results immediately following treatment. Full results appear after bruising and swelling subsides, within about 14 days.

Step 3: Follow-up

Results can last 6 to 18 months. Once you notice a loss of volume and lack of hydration, visit our office. We’ll set up a follow-up appointment. One of our nurse injectors will get you back to loving your look!

Do not discontinue any prescribed medications without consulting your doctor first.

No immunizations, vaccines, or illnesses within 2 weeks.

Post-Care Instructions

Hold off on exercising for 24 hours.
Avoid wearing makeup for 24 hours.
Avoid sun exposure for 72 hours.
Apply a cold compress on and off for the first 24 hours.
