The ideal candidate for Opus Plasma is someone with mild to moderate signs of aging, such as fine lines and wrinkles, who is in good health and willing to commit to a series of treatments for optimal results. At Lolia, we recommend clients have three consecutive sessions to achieve the best results.

A Fresh Look at Natural Healing
You’ve heard of skin resurfacing. Now, meet Opus Plasma. This treatment combines radiofrequency (RF) and plasma technology to improve skin texture and tone. Our nurses use a handheld device with tiny metal pins to penetrate the skin. These pins create micro-injuries that trigger your body’s natural healing abilities, encouraging collagen and elastin production.

Our innovative treatment planning tool helps you uncover personalized solutions. Choose your concerns, and we’ll deliver curated treatment options to meet your goals.

Step 1: Consultation
See us for a complimentary consultation! One of our nurse injectors will meet with you to discuss your treatment options. Then, we’ll develop a suitable plan based on your specific skin concerns.

Step 2: Treatment
With the plan in place, your nurse injectors will have you lie down on the treatment table, so they can provide a topical numbing cream. Then, they will begin treatment using Opus Plasma.

Step 3: Results
Recovery can take 3 to 5 days. During this time, you may experience tenderness and swelling. The time it takes to see results can vary depending on your skin condition. Full results can last up to 2 years.
Pre-Care Instructions
- Limit sun exposure for a minimum of 2 weeks.
- Avoid using retinoids for 3 days before treatment. Do not stop using prescribed medication without consulting your doctor.
Post-Care Instructions
- Avoid sun exposure for 7 days.
- Avoid exfoliating products.
- Use sunscreen daily.
- Use a gentle cleanser and moisturizer.
A skin resurfacing treatment can vary from person to person. Some clients describe it as a scratching or burning sensation, while others refer to it as a warm, prickly feeling. We apply a topical numbing cream to help ease any discomfort during the procedure.
It’s not unusual to notice some swelling, redness, or a burning sensation afterward. These side effects usually resolve on their own within a couple of weeks, often sooner.
When it comes to our skin treatments, Opus Plasma and microneedling are popular treatments that work in different ways. Opus Plasma harnesses plasma energy to create controlled micro-punctures to the skin. This damage triggers the body’s natural healing response and boosts collagen production, improving skin texture and tone.
A microneedling procedure is very similar but requires more maintenance than Opus Plasma. You may need several appointments per year to maintain similar results.
Lolia Aesthetics is happy to offer both treatments. Your nurse injector can help you decide which is the proper choice for you.
