Step 3: Results

Recovery can take 1 to 2 weeks. During this time, you may experience tenderness and swelling. You should see initial results in 4 to 6 weeks following your first session. Full results will settle after your final session.

Pre-Care Instructions

Avoid taking blood thinners (aspirin, ibuprofen, vitamin E, fish oil) for 3 to 5 days prior to treatment.
Do not stop taking any prescribed medications without first talking to your doctor.
Arrive for your appointment free of makeup, lotions, or perfumes.
Do not consume alcohol for 3 to 5 days prior to your appointment.

Post-Care Instructions

Avoid exposure to excessive heat (hot tubs, hot showers, saunas, etc.).
Take a break from the gym and strenuous physical activity for at least 24 hours.
Sleep on your back and elevate your head to decrease any swelling.
